PUMP IT!

Things are getting a little bit monotonous for me, thinking of the routine jogging round the park and staying away from my favourite food.

I decided to recce for fitness centre which can suit my lifestyles. I prefer to do workouts such as aerobics, pilates or yoga more of that sort rather than the usual workout in the gym...running on treadmill, the stepper/climber or the bicyle. Finally I signed up at one of the leading fitness centre cos, "ladies only", about 8 outles, unlimited classes and gym usage.

I've tried some of the classes conducted and I would say that I enjoyed myself especially aerobics and stretch fit.

It's been about few months already.....and I've lost about 4kg. Well that's an achievement for me, definitely! I'm now trying to lose a few more kgs and I will try hard to achieve my target.

The feeling is good, you feel healthier and boost yr confidence! For those out there, don't be shy...grab yr running shoes and start moving.

Balancing Act

The next question that crossed my mind is.....what to eat, am i eating the right choice???

Huh...I don't think I can survive staying away from my favourite food which has all the high calories. No junk food, no fast-food, no tempura..oh no! Isn't it cruel.

My fren who has successfully slimmed down, keep telling me...."Come on, that's a sacrifice u know...mind over the body! If I can do it, why not u..."

First thing, I cut down my rice portion, eat more veggie and fruits. I don't skipped meals. STAY AWAY FROM SNACKS. At the same time, keep yr routine..i mean exercise.. going, going and going.

Its such a slow, slow process. I did think of taking a shortcut, I think u can guess....how about slimming pills? Seeing all the advertisement really tempt me, but my hubby straight away was against the idea. I shouldn't take any chances if anything happen. He's absolutely RIGHT.

Keep going!

Welcome back.

Looking at my fren managed to lose weight has made me determined to do the same. I started to jog at my nearby park twice a week and cut down my food portion. Well, I can say...its not as simple as you think. Knowing I have a slow metabolic rate, well the numbers that appear on the weighing scale......its always the same!

I keep jogging for the next month.....and when I weigh again, its so pathetic I lose only ONE kg. Feel like giving up.

But then my hubby who has been very encouraging urged me to KEEP GOING. He reminded me not to stress myself by targeting too much, but do it at my own pace. Thanks dear!
